Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pasteboard — whether through the web app, our PWA, or any API — you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

These terms apply to all tiers: Free, Pro, and Premium. Where a clause applies only to paid tiers, we say so explicitly.

2. Subscription tiers

Pasteboard offers three tiers. Here's what each includes:

  • Custom branding, folders & project workspaces

Features are subject to change. We'll notify paying customers at least 14 days before removing a feature they rely on.

3. Billing & payments

Pro ($4.99/month) and Premium ($19.99/month) are billed monthly on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on each billing date.

All prices are in USD. Taxes may apply depending on your location and will be shown at checkout. We do not store or see your full card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own PCI-compliant infrastructure.

If a charge fails, Stripe will retry over the following days. After repeated failures, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier.

4. Upgrades

You can upgrade from Free → Pro → Premium at any time from your dashboard. When you upgrade mid-cycle, Stripe prorates the remaining days on your current plan and applies the credit to your new subscription immediately — so your higher-tier access kicks in straight away and you're charged fairly.

Example:If you're on Pro and upgrade to Premium with 15 days left in your billing cycle, you're credited for those 15 Pro days and charged a prorated Premium rate for the remainder.

5. Downgrades

You can downgrade (Premium → Pro → Free) at any time from your dashboard or via the Stripe customer portal.

Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period— you keep all current features until then. We don't charge a penalty or issue a prorated refund for a downgrade.

When your plan downgrades, boards and cards over the Free tier limits become read-only. Nothing is deleted — if you re-upgrade, full access is restored immediately.

Heads up:Downgrading from Premium removes access to brand kits, white-label sharing, and project workspaces at the end of the period. Export or note anything you'll need before then.

6. Cancellations

Cancel anytime from your dashboard settings or through the Stripe customer portal. No questions asked.

After cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account moves to the Free tier — boards over Free limits become read-only, but your data stays safe.

We don't delete your boards or cards when you cancel. You can re-subscribe at any time to restore full access.

To cancel, go to your Dashboard → Manage Billingand select “Cancel plan” in the Stripe customer portal. No email required.

7. Refunds

Subscription payments are non-refundable. We don't issue refunds for partial months, unused time, or mid-period cancellations.

If something went wrong on our end — a billing error, an accidental double charge — email us at contact@pasteboard.euand we'll sort it out promptly.

8. Your content

You own everything you paste on your boards — links, files, notes, images. We don't claim any rights to your content.

You agree not to upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on others' intellectual property. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this.

9. Service availability

We aim for high availability and take our infrastructure seriously. That said, Pasteboard is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

For planned maintenance or major incidents, we post updates at our status page.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we'll email paying customers and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
